Before Sending the Meter

Before a meter is sent for repair please consider these possible solutions:

· If the unit does not maintain a charge try testing the battery or swap the battery with another similar Birdog unit. If the battery is bad you can order a replacement through perfect 10 (1-800-205-8620).

· Make sure you have the latest satellite profile downloaded to your meter. The profiles can be downloaded from www.birdog.tv website.

· There is a lot of helpful information on the Birdog website www.birdog.tv that may resolve questions you have.

Requesting an Return Authorization

Before we can authorize a meter to be returned we must issue a Return Authorization Number and obtain information from a valid credit card.

Meters sent without authorization will sit in hold until the sender calls.

Credit cards will not be charge until you are contacted with repair details.

To Return a Birdog for repair:

Call 1-800-963-6363 and request Birdog Customer Service, (Canada customers call 1-905-470-9679)

Provide Name, Shipping address, Contact number, credit card and details about why you need to return the meter.

Carefully pack the unit in a padded shipping box.

Mark the Return Authorization Number on the outside of the box.

Sending a Meter for Repair

When a meter is sent for repair our technical staff will perform a complete evaluation of its working conditions and battery integrity. A bench charge is required for any meter not repaired or found in good working condition. It is important that you have looked into all possible causes of the meter not working before you send it in for repair.
